Why is canceling an Adobe software subscription so difficult?

Adobe is purposely and annoyingly difficult to unsubscribe from. Sometimes all you would have done is joined a trial, forgot to cancel and now all you can seem to do is be reminded to PAY them for a service you haven’t even used yet.

Could this be the reason companies like Adobe are now worth $200 billion dollars? They’ve successfully free-business-modeled you into joining a subscription (most people forget to cancel), and now it’s a machine of recurring revenue.

Good for them, annoying for the average consumer.
